Vital to meeting the need for improved science education is the involvement of scientists in collegial partnership with science educators in both formal and informal settings. This is especially true in Astrobiology where the multi-disciplinary nature of the realm provides provides both educational opportunities and challenges. This paper will address barriers and pathways to successful scientist participation in educational partnerships through a collection of concrete examples of astrobiologists in education.
