The ratio of the magnetic-to-kinetic energy densities in the solar wind is an in situ measurement that correlates well with the solar activity cycle. For this reason it has been called a ``solar wind quasi-invariant'' (QI). In this paper we investigate the probability density functions (PDFs) of QI in Interplanetary Coronal Mass Ejections (ICMEs). The obtained PDF is discussed in terms of log-normal and log-kappa functions. A comparison with the PDFs as obtained for the solar wind during maximum and minimum phases of solar cycle 23 (1996-2007) is presented.
