We present a high-quality light curve of the OGLE-TR-56b transit. OGLE-TR-56b is a transiting extrasolar planet with the orbital period of 1.2 days, mass of 1.45 ± 0.23 MJup and radius of 1.23 ± 0.16 RJup. With the new light curve, we derive a precise radius (and inclination) of OGLE-TR-56b to test the theories of the interior structure and origin of exoplanets. With the new data, we also explore the feasibility of a timing experiment on orbit period changes to detect orbital decay due to tides raised in the star's convection zone by the planet and to discover a putative non-transiting planet in a more distant orbit in the system.
