The Chandra X-Ray mission is the third of NASA's four Great Observatories. Responsibility for the Education and Public Outreach activity is placed with the Chandra X-Ray Center, following the model initiated with STScI and Hubble. We will discuss our experiences and unique challenges in developing meaningful, stimulating and engaging E/PO activities and products for a high resolution mission observing in the "invisible" part of the spectrum. We will discuss how we respond to the needs of the full range of E/PO audiences, including the general public, print and broadcast press, educators, and groups with special interests. The discussion will include examples of challenges, lessons learned, and future plans. We acknowledge support from the CXC Contract NAS8-03060.
