We investigate the environmental dependence of galaxy properties within magnitude-limited samples selected from the DEEP2 and 2dF Galaxy Redshift Surveys. Galaxy environment is defined according to the unique volume occupied by each galaxy in redshift space, using a Voronoi partition of the two survey volumes. In this talk, we present detailed comparisons with popular density estimators, and we investigate the environmental dependence of star-formation rate, internal kinematics, and the galaxy luminosity function over the redshift range z ˜ 0 to z ˜ 1. This work is being supported by funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
