The authors present the results of the photometric observations, in the UBVRJHKLMNQ system, of CH Cyg, made in the period 1978 - 1987. They have shown that from the beginning of 1985 to the end of 1987 the essential amount of dust grains have condensed in the circumstellar envelope of this symbiotic star. In 1987 its mass and temperature were about 3×10-8M_sun; and 800K, respectively.
