We present results of a deep 350 micron image at 9'' resolution of the nearby high mass star forming region Monoceros R2 using the Submillimeter High Angular Resolution Camera (SHARC-II) at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory. The Monoceros R2 region is a site of ongoing star formation, containing an infrared cluster, a compact HII region, H2O and OH masers, and a large and old molecular outflow. The image shows faint filamentary structure in the dust around the star forming region, dividing it into several overlapping ridges forming a central core. We have also conducted C18O mapping of the region to trace the column density of molecular gas. We present these observations and a preliminary analysis.
