The broad-line radio galaxy 3C 390.3 presents a unqiue challenge for the current paradigm of X-ray variability in active galaxies. Previous effors have reported both non-stationary and non-linear variability. We present an analysis of archival RXTE observations spanning 2 years, sampled every 3 days. The stationarity of the light curve is explored, and both the structure function and periodogram are presented. Along with 3C 120, 3C 390.3 allows us to compare variability processes in both radio-loud and radio-quiet objects.
