Worms are dusty, neutral Hydrogen (HI) structures observed to rise perpendicular to the Galactic plane. Observations made with the synthesis telescope of the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory revealed that a previously catalogued worm, GW123.4-1.5, has a mushroom-shaped morphology. The Canadian Galactic Plane Survey data, collected with the same telescope, have been systematically searched for similar worms and we will present a catalog of observed structures. For confirmed worms, we are analyzing HI emission for correlations between morphology and the kinematics expected for old supernova remnants (SNRs). This may establish a possible evolutionary sequence between SNRs and mushroom-shaped clouds, as was suggested by one of the plausible numerical models for GW123.4-1.5. We discuss, in detail, some interesting candidates and the implications of our results.
