Light curves for S CrB, a type M star, during the years 1962-1977 are presented with attention to maxima and minima (B - V = +1.25 and 2, respectively). A photoelectric analysis is used to evaluate both color index and IR emission (3500 nm). Period is given at between 350 and 400 d, absolute magnitude (maximum) at -0.8 plus or minus 0.3, and distance from earth at between 1500 and 2000 light years.
