An outline is given of deep surveys conducted with the Molonglo radio telescope in order to reach sources significantly fainter than about 0.3 Jy in a small solid angle of sky. A total of 373 sources were cataloged along declination -20 deg at a 5-sigma lower limit of 88 mJy, and 95 sources were detected along declination -62 deg at a 5-sigma lower limit of 84 mJy. Sensitivity improvements and error analyses are discussed. The differential source counts from the deep surveys are plotted, and the results are shown to confirm flattening off or convergence of the counts at very low flux densities.
