A diagram is presented for the course of period changes of SV Cen, an eclipsing variable of the Beta Lyrae type. The lower part of the diagram shows the value of the period of the star in days as a function of time in years and epoch. The upper part shows the depth of the primary and secondary minima as a function of time and epoch. Continuous deepening of both minima and thus changes in the position of the orbit in space is indicated. This may be caused by a third disturbing body.
