A geometrical model first reported by Radhakrishnan and Cooke (1969) is considered. According to the Radhakrishnan and Cooke pulsar model presented, emission is associated with the polar regions of an oblique, rotating, magnetic dipole. Position angles associated with the linearly polarized component of the radiation in the model are expected to coincide with the magnetic field projections. There is, however, a second class of pulsars which displays a more complicated polarization angel behavior that cannot be adequately accounted for on the basis of the considered geometric model.
