The author presents an exploratory discussion on various experimental
schemes to detect effects which are equivalent to acceleration and
cosmological noises. It is possible that dispersive noises in GRIN
dielectric-lined Cerenkov FELs and gas-loaded Cerenkov FELs may also
offer such a scheme.
