Meteor Streams, Quadrantids

An analysis of visual aspects of the Quadrantid meteor stream in 2000 is carried out. In nearly 30 hours of effective observing time, 755 Quadrantids have been observed by UAI Meteor Section members. On January 3/4 the value of the average population index resulted 2.57 from the available magnitude distributions and a small part of the ZHR profile was obtained.
