The fine structure in the bright H2O maser source in Orion A is analyzed. The maser is found to be unsaturated or partially saturated. The H2O line profile is asymmetrical with a complex structure; individual features represent compact source components distributed over 0.0013 arcsec or 0.6 AU across. The low and high frequency parts of the line originate in larger-size sources. The high brightness temperature (not less than 10 to the 16th K) of the compact components is probably due to coherent emission.
