The analysis of the available data in the 21 cm line shows systematic, oscillating motions in the galactic nucleus. The motions depend on the z-altitudes of the neutral hydrogen features (the corrugation pattern). The differences of the maximum radial velocities in the first galactic quadrant (galactic longitude between 0 and 90 deg) and in the fourth galactic quadrant (galactic longitude between 360 and 270 deg) present a wave-like pattern. In this pattern the wavelength increases and the wave amplitude decreases with growing galactocentric distances. This can be interpreted as indications of systematic motions V(R), V(theta), V(z) along the radial, angular and z-direction coordinates associated with the spiral structure. The results obtained are consistent with the solutions of the hydrodynamical equations applied to a simplified model of the galactic layer.
