Background Radiation: Cosmic, Background Radiation: Distortion
Scientific paper
The search for distortions in the spectral distribution of the cosmic-background radiation is a potential source of information about the process of energy injections which accompanied the evolution of our universe from Z = 106 to the present epoch. In spite of theoretical expectations, so far no definite distortion has been detected. The authors present a program of new observations at frequencies near and below 1 GHz, where strong distortions are, in principle, possible.
