Deep VLA images of the cores of four globular clusters were made at 6 cm in hybrid A/B configuration. The clusters were selected on the basis that they contained a bright X-ray source. Radio counterparts were found for the X-ray sources in NGC 7078 (M15) and 6712. They are both slightly extended and have integrated flux densities of 481±28 and 195±23 μJy, respectively. Both coincide (≤0.6 arcsec) with previously suggested optical counterparts. Possible emission mechanisms are synchrotron and bremsstrahlung but further observations are needed to decide between these two alternatives. The 3σ upper limits for the radio emission from the globular clusters NGC 1851 and 6624 were ˜63 and ˜87 μJy beam-1, respectively.
