Interferometric measurements made during early March 1989 at the Korean Antarctic Research Station are reported which show large increases in the neutral temperature of the thermosphere. Temperature data sets for a quiet days, disturbed days are presented and compared with prediction from the semiempirical MSIS (mass spectrometer/incoherent scatter) thermospheric models.
