The light curve of the galaxy NGC 7469 obtained during 20 years shows
that the variability of the galaxy nucleus exists at various time
interval and increases to shortward region of the spectrum. The
variations of the colour indices (U-B) and (B-V) can be understood in
terms of a two-component model.
