PSR 0355 + 54 is a short-period radio pulsar characterized by its extremely low timing noise and occasional large glitches. This source was observed in the TeV gamma-ray range at Pachmarhi using the atmospheric Cerenkov technique. From 25 hours of data collected during December 1987, a phasogram was derived using the contemporaneous pulsar elements. The light curve shows a 4.3-sigma signal at a phase of 0.53 with respect to the radio pulse. The time-averaged pulsed flux from this source is derived to be (7.9 + or - 2.0) x 10 to the -12th photons/sq cm sec for gamma rays of energy 1.3 TeV or greater.
