IR spectra of NGC 7027 at four positions across the nebula show a variation in the spectral shape. The spectra are similar to those observed from the Orion ionization-front region; and it is suggested that the interpretation of this type of spectrum in terms of silicate absorption may not be valid for NGC 7027 and hence may not be valid for some other objects. The surface brightness in the forbidden S IV 10.52-micron emission line observed with a 3-arcsec beam is higher than that found in previous work for the nebula as a whole. The surface brightness of emission in the 11.3-micron broad feature observed with a 3-arcsec beam is the same as that previously observed for the entire nebula.
