Observations are presented on linear polarization of the X-ray binary HD 77581 in the UBV passbands made during a period from October 31 to November 14, 1979. The degree of polarization shows a variation of about 0.2% and the position angle 1.5 deg. The variations are similar in each color. No clear periodicity can be found from the observations covering only one and one-half orbital cycles. Possible explanations of the polarization variations are discussed.
