The photoelectric determination of rotational velocities by means of the correlation technique yields accurate ve sin i values for F to M dwarfs, even for slow rotators, down to 2 km s-1. The root mean square dispersion between other existing accurate determinations and CORAVEL rotational velocities is about 1 km s-1. An additional line-broadening mechanism exists with increasing equatorial velocity and spectral type. This line broadening probably results from an increase of turbulence and/or magnetic field. CORAVEL rotational velocities are given for 95 stars.
