The verification of the astronomical system of longitudes of the Federal Republic of Germany, performed in 1973/74, at the Kloppenheim station is described. Longitudes and latitudes were determined in measurement sets for a period of several years by means of the circumzenithal astrolabe VUGTK-CSSR. The results are shown. The coordinate values, obtained at different external conditions, do not show ascertainable systematics. They provide an excellent constancy for the measuring system.
