This volume of AN contains the proceedings of the Joint Discussion #1 (JD-1) ``Astronomy with Robotic Telescopes: Present and Future Projects'' and of the Mini Symposia #9 (MS-9) ``Hot subdwarfs, white dwarfs, and low-mass star evolution'', and #10 (MS-10) ``Large Telescopes for Solar Physics''. The meetings were held as part of the JENAM 2001 conference ``Five Days of Creation. Astronomy with Large Telescopes from Ground and Space'' in Munich, Germany, from September 10 through 15, 2001.
