The paper develops a method for calculating the perturbing effects of Pluto on the elements of the giant planets: perturbations induced by Pluto are expanded in Chebyshev series. These representations are added to the elements of the giant planets calculated by a planetary theory without Pluto and thus give the value of the elements in the presence of Pluto. Two objectives are accomplished with this method: (1) the form of perturbations of the giant planets by Pluto can be calculated for a 500-year period, and (2) the theory without Pluto is improved.
