The parameters of filter-cameras for nebular photography are outlined and a method of using confocal paraboloids to give the basic camera a higher resolution is investigated. Some astronomical problems requiring filter-cameras with large fields of view are mentioned. Two systems are described which increase the small field of the basic camera to 300 and then 900. Comments are then made on the design and construction of interference filters for this, type of photography.
