We propose a 100 ks observation of RXJ 1347.5-1145, the most luminous X-ray cluster of galaxies with the HETG. RXJ 1347.5-1145 is a compact high redshift (0.451) X-ray cluster. By using the dispersed spectrum of the HETG and the spatially resolved zero-order image, we plan to measure its cooling flow and detect a number of emission lines of RXJ 1347.5-1145. The observed spectral-spatial properties will determine the dynamics of X-ray gas early in the history of cluster formation.
