The high-mass X-ray binary OAO 1657-415 consists of a 38 s pulsar accreting from a (still unidentified) OB supergiant. The system is only the 7th known eclipsing X-ray binary, and the only one which seems to form a transient accretion disk from the companion's stellar wind. It provides a rare opportunity to measure a neutron star mass, if the optical companion can be identified. However, the X-ray position of this highly absorbed source is only known to 30 arcsec. I propose a short ACIS-HETG observation to determine its position precisely, and probe the stellar wind of the companion using fluorescent X-ray lines.
