Consideration is given to the problem of the motion of a satellite in the gravitational field of an axisymmetric planet. It is assumed that the gravitational field is represented by a system of complex point masses (fixed centers) situated on a complex axis. Particular emphasis is placed on the convergence of series that describe circular orbits and stable motions.
