3C 123 has been mapped at 2.7 and 15 GHz with resolutions 3.6 x 7.2 and
0.65 x 1.3 arcsec, in total power and polarization. A compact central
source, coincident with the optical galaxy, has been discovered. The
polarization data suggest the presence of large amounts of 'cold' matter
within the components.
