A list of 119 Cepheids that are members of clusters and associations in the Magellanic Clouds, the Galaxy, and M31 is presented. The following composite period-age relation is determined from observational data on 64 Cepheids in 29 clusters: lg t = 8.157 (+ or - 0.037) 0.677 (+ or - 0.047) lg P (for P between 2 and 50 days). This relation is found to be in good agreement with the theoretical value, and the dispersion is shown to indicate an age dispersion of about 10 million years for stars in associations. It is suggested that the Cepheids with the shortest period in a given cluster pulsate in the first overtone. Examples are given which illustrate the use of the period-age relation to reconstruct the history of recent star formation in galaxies. A relation between Cepheid periods and neutral hydrogen density in M31 is also obtained.
