A detailed revision of a study of the luminosity-metallicity relationship of the zero age horizontal branch (ZAHB) stars in Galactic globular clusters is presented in order to clear up conflicting results obtained by Buonanno et al. (1989) and King et al. (1988). The results show that the discrepancy is due mostly to differences in their adopted procedures.
