Four strips of constant ecliptical latitude in the Milky Way are evaluated for brightness by the zodiacal light experiment on the Helios 1 space probe. Attention is given to UBV data for the Milky Way in Scorpius as reported by the -16 deg photometer. The spectral response is close to the standard UBV system, with effective wavelengths of 364, 427, and 539 nm for a solar type spectrum. Results were compared to previous photometries and predictions from star counts.
