Theoretically synthesized spectra of Beta Aurigae have been compared
with spectrophotometry at 2 A resolution in three regions between 2000 A
and 3000 A. Good agreement depends on the completeness of the line list
and on the adopted microturbulence rather than the detailed accuracy of
the f-values and abundances.
