New observations of Ni VII transitions in the region 205-231 A have led to a revision of the lower terms in the configurations 3d4 and 3d3 4p. Wavelengths of forbidden lines of Ni VII are predicted. Calculation of magnetic dipole transition probabilities in the ground configuration supports possible identifications in the nova-like variable RR Telescopii.
