Application of smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) to the numerical simulation of three-dimensional gas flows under astrophysical conditions is described. It is shown that results fit well complicated astrophysical phenomena even for a relatively small number (about 1000) of particles. Calculations of the gaseous cloud collapse, with and without rotation, are presented as examples.
