For N = 2 of the N-body problem, two families of symmetries S1 and S2 are defined which change the eccentricity of a solution. S1 is associated with arbitrary choice of the zero level of the potential while S2 is related to a possible affinity of the configuration space. S1 and S2 are described by a spatial transformation product of an instantaneous homothethy and an instantaneous rotation completed by a change of the temporal variable. S1 may related unbounded and bounded central solutions of the same type, and S2 may regularize multiple collisions among central solutions of the same type. Thus any central solution is equivalent to a central circular solution of the same type. This is a form of regularization.
