Assuming the presence at the bottom of the convective zone of a uniform horizontal magnetic field, it is possible to calculate the flux of internal waves crossing the magnetic field. Due to the low frequency of the internal waves which are considered here, the magnetic field behave like a barrier and the amplitude of the internal waves decreases quickly. A few speculations are presented, suggesting especially then possibility of explaining the variations of the neutrino flux as a function of solar activity.
