The 2-10 keV X-ray spectra of type 2 AGN (Seyfert 2s and Narrow Line Radio Galaxies) tend to show large amounts of foreground absorption by cold material. Both SAX and RXTE are now affording us a clearer view of these AGN by measuring their X-ray spectra above 10 keV for the first time, so that we can begin to address the following questions: Do Seyfert 2s and NLRGs share the same intrinsic X-ray continua with their unobscured analogs (Seyfert 1s and quasars, respectively)? Is their evidence for a Compton reflection component in their hard X-ray spectra? Can we constrain the location of their obscuration/reflection regions? How do type 2 AGN contribute to the unresolved hard X-ray background? I shall present some RXTE spectra of type 2 AGN to illustrate these issues.
