Polarimetric observations of the Compact Steep-spectrum Sources 0548+164 and 1524-136 with the VLBA at 5 frequencies, show that the two sources are significantly polarised on the milli-arcsecond scale. These detailed polarization information allow us to study the Rotation Measure and depolarization distributions in these sources, providing valuable insights into the nature of the depolarizing gas and allowing a study of the interaction of the jets with the interstellar media in the host galaxies. Their distorted structures and the asymmetry in the location of the outer components suggest that the components are evolving through a dense asymmetric environment in the central regions of their parent galaxies. We present the results of our observations and discuss their implications for the evolution of young radio sources. (Collaborators: D.J. Saikia, NCRA, TIFR, India; W.
