Keto-acids (pyruvic acid homologs) have been identified in carbonaceous
chondrites by GC-MS. All compounds were identified as their
trimethylsilyl (TMS), isopropyl ester (ISP), and tert-butyldimethylsilyl
(tBDMS) derivatives.
