23 GHz aperture synthesis maps of the core object in Virgo A made with the Hat Creek interferometer are compared with 5 GHz Cambridge maps to obtain distributions of spectral index, depolarization, and rotation angle with a resolution of 6 arc sec x 12 arc sec. A physical model employing a turbulent plasma containing both random and systematic magnetic fields is used to interpret the data. Distributions of spectral index, systematic magnetic field strength and direction, random-to-systematic field ratio, and thermal electron density are derived. Estimates of the average scale size for random magnetic field reversals are also made.
