Linear correlations between the log of the diameter of ring-shaped nebulae and the log of the total number of embedded stars for two absolute magnitude levels of -2 and +2 magnitudes for the LMC have been found. This shows that less luminous stars are also contributing towards the illumination of the nebulae. A method for the determination of relative ages of these loop nebulae is described.
