The short-period eclipsing binary UX UMa has a notable history of pronounced departures from linear eclipse elements. We present representative broadband eclipse curves and 14 times of mid-eclipse obtained with a high-speed, automated photometer at Penn State in 1978-1979. The current event in the O - C trend apparently has a precedent in the recorded behavior. The cause of such events remains uncertain.
