Instantaneous line profiles of UV and optical recombination lines of F9 and AKN 120 are given. Models of Seyfert nuclei are discussed. The hydrogen recombination lines show a systematically narrower profile for recombination between lower levels. Single cloud models cannot account for this, so a multiple cloud model, featuring systematic rotation and a strong increase in electron density towards the center of rotation, is posited.
