I report our systematic study on ULIRGs and LIRGs, especialy the multi-wavelength study on QSOs with infrared luminosities as high as ULIRGs (IR QSOs). Such QSOs are very likely in the transition state from major merger between gas rich spirals to elliptical galaxies, during which the correlation between the masses of bulge and central black hole could be established.
