A study is made of force-free magnetostatic fields in the corona of a differentially rotating accretion disk for the case where a net current I_p_ flows out from the disk. This current may arise from the electrosatic potential drop which exists across the disk surface. An analytical solution of the force-free field for I_p_=0 by Lynden-Bell and Boily shows that the differential rotation of the disk acts to give an open diverging poloidal field with, say, outgoing magnetic flux within a cone θ<60deg about the z-axis and incoming flux within 60deg<θ<=90deg. For finite I_p_ we find that the region of outgoing flux approaches a constant cylindrical radius {prop.to}1/|I_p_| as z ->{infinity}. This field configuration may be unstable to sausage and/or kink perturbations.
